Per College policy, donations to specific varsity athletic teams will be allocated as follows: 80% to directly support the operations of the team and 20% to the team's budget-enhancing fund. Leaderboard standings are based on Athletics Affiliations, which are selected alongside your College Affiliation (alum, parent, student, fac/staff, friend). Gift designations do not contribute to leaderboard standings. Participation percentages are calculated based on each team's total number of current student-athletes, parents of student-athletes, and alumni athletes. When you make your gift, choose your College affiliation and your Athletics affiliation to ensure your contribution counts in your team's leaderboard standings. Yes! Connecticut College is a 501c(3) charitable organization. Donors will receive an email confirmation for their online gift, which is also their tax receipt. Those who give through other methods will receive their tax receipt in the mail.
