Gifts to Equity & Inclusion contribute to...
THANK YOU to each member of the Conn community who has supported the College during Conn Giving Day! Your contributions are already shaping the next chapter of the College and creating life-changing opportunities for current and future generations of students. We are incredibly grateful to the nearly 1,000 Camels who have shown their Conn Pride and raised more than $300K (and counting) to support the people, places, and programs that define the Conn experience.
While our 1,911 minutes of celebration conclude at 3:51 p.m. ET today, we are continuing to accept donations through Monday, April 7. So, if you didnโt get a chance to join us on April 2-3, you can still make a difference and invest in Connโs future!
If you have sent your Conn Giving Day gift to the College in the mail or through wire transfer, please send us an email with your name and class year so we can count your participation! If you have any questions or concerns about giving, please contact connecticutcollegefund@conncoll.edu.
On behalf of the campus community, thank you for investing in Connโs bright future!

Conn is more than a campus โ it's where students build a home and a community. Your generosity ensures that each and every student is able to find a community of their own on campus, which in turn strengthens the entire life.
Equity & Inclusion: Support the programs and initiatives that help every member of the Camel community thrive in every aspect of the educational, residential, and professional life of the College.
Race and Ethnicity Programs (Unity House/CCAC): Through collaboration with departments and student groups across campus allows Unity House to host events for diversity and multicultural issues, cultural heritage months, and educational training sessions with faculty, staff, and students. During Conn Giving Day, you can support the Unity House stole tradition by sponsoring a stole for a graduating student of color.
Gender & Sexuality Programs: Conn is committed to fostering an equitable community on our campus. In support of this mission, Gender and Sexuality Programs house both our LGBTQIA and F.R.E.E Centers. Both of these centers serve as vibrant community hubs that encourage dialogue and exploration of gender and sexuality through social events, educational programs, resource libraries, and more.
Genesis Program: Genesis is a year-long program designed to acclimate, support, and empower first-generation and/or first-year students of color at Connecticut College. During the academic year, the Genesis program provides weekly study groups, peer support, holistic advising, and college empowerment workshops. Every aspect of the Genesis program provides a strong foundation for participants for their whole college career.
F.R.E.E Center Programming: The Feminist Resource, Education, & Empowerment (F.R.E.E) Center is dedicated to advancing gender equity by engaging the community through resources, education, and empowerment.
Harkness Chapel: Harkness Chapel continues to be a central space on campus, hosting services, recitals, and special events. The Chapel library is a popular student gathering space and is a welcoming place for the entire community at Conn.
Hillel House: Hillel programming is a critical and vibrant part of the Connecticut College campus life. Your generosity enables a thriving Jewish community.
LGBTQIA Programming: The LGBTQIA Center serves the unique needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual students by providing a supportive space, resource library, social events and educational programming. The Center serves as a resource for the entire College community to learn about issues related to gender and sexuality.
Religious & Spiritual Programs: As students examine their values and beliefs, they gain a deeper appreciation for beliefs different than their own and respect for those who hold those beliefs. Our goal is to provide students with a foundation that will help them integrate personal beliefs with professional demands and prepare them to lead lives of integrity, civility and compassion.
Sexual Violence Prevention: At Connecticut College, we believe that preventing sexual assault is a shared responsibility of the entire community, and all students play a critical role. The Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Advocacy coordinates campus-wide education and training efforts, with a network of support and resources for victims of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.
